>>7213349I used to visit a comic place to get 3p figs at a physical location. One day, they had preview figures, including MMC Kulter and Fantoys Galvatron months before they came out. I brought my then hard to find TR Hot Rod to take pictures with them and there were four other guys who begged me where I found him, if I would sell him to them, and were talking about how badly they needed wave 3. They were also talking about how they needed Galvatron for their TR Displays and Masterpiece. One said they were replacing that other Galvatron with no wrists with this one. All they talked about was how many figures they bought and how many more they were going to buy and how they were looking to replace other expensive figures they bought with other expensive figures.
Maybe you’re extremely lucky, but that experience is essentially how any gathering of other transfags has been for me. It’s how KFC can continue selling shit toys despite their godlessly spotty QC. It’s also why I don’t do nerd gatherings any more.
Worst part though was that Kulter never came because apparently his test shot’s qc was absolutely wretched. Only figure I wanted to mess with too.
