ABS usually pops up with the pre-molded joint frame runners on RG kits which use different types of plastic(I know these are also being phased out, but they're around)
Anon might pick up some older kits that do use ABS and polycaps, so it's worth knowing, but yes most new kits try to go for all polystyrene
