We have a UP line behind our backyard and every once in a while we see a Cotton Belt GP pass by with a few cars.
It’s hard to say where this is going… my 7-year old wants it - we’ve been making papercraft trains lately - and I’m happy to do a lot of the work. We’re space limited (I’d go N-scale if I were doing this without him) but I could see us wanting to run two trains on the same layout and it sounds like that’s when we’d want to upgrade to DCC? But that can wait.
