It's really easy to put it on, you just need to take the neck part off, place the hood part of the cape on top of the neck hole of the body, and then insert the neck part back on the figure. It'll keep the cape in place.
A nitpick I have is the "hood"-looking part of the cape, but it's easy to press it down to minimize the look.
