>>9180901Well it’s a lot of things, Magnus is a pre-movie design and Galvatron is one of the most “movie era” designs out there so there’s that clash of designs. Personality wise they are just fun as rivals, rage-filled madman vs stoic career soldier makes for not only fun fight sequences.
Galvatron is almost always on the offensive, savagely punching, swinging and shooting with nothing but aggression and intent to kill. Magnus on the other hand is defensive, letting his bulk soak up the punishment and trying to get a shot in when Galvatron’s blind rage leaves an opening. Their fight in Regen is fantastic for this reason.
Also it’s a rare case of the good guy being the bigger one.
