what my plan on building this kit was basically paint it before building it.
I just sanded the areas where the nub marks are, then painted them. the clear parts are painted with Gundam Markers.
I used Tamiya spray can paints to paint the kit, to support my local model kit shop that has been open for 40 years (they closed down for good, after I bought some spray can paints)
I used Tamiya Blue, A mix of AS and TS spray cans due to the local shop dying. the inner frame and most of the gray are done using Tamiya Gunship Grey, the guns and the feet are done with Mr. Color Black. I didnt use any paint on the white and red.
I chose this hue of blue because this one is the original color scheme of Gundam Mk. V
The light blue color scheme is great too, but the deep blue is how I remember Gundam MkV from G Generation 0 and F.
