McFarlane and JoyToy are doing very different large-scale shit, and even that took like 30+ years to happen because GW was always afraid of cannibalizing their sales. Mega Construx would make a mockery of their overpriced minis, being about the same size but fully poseable, with swappable weapons and armor, and much cheaper. Who would ever buy a mini again? People would just start playing/army building with Mega instead.
