>>11405835Last and certainly not least, the Japanese army, like the Germans, has diverged considerably from the Billy V army, rather fittingly in this case as the Billy V Japanese have little in common with Matchbox's Japanese army. I believe this is primarily due to Matchbox never making a 1/35 version of their Japanese, unlike the other armies above; thus, the Billy V and similar Jap sets were apparently cobbled together from several different lines, as I'll unpack a bit later.
Getting back to the army at hand, unlike the Germans one can find several poses that were sourced and modified to varying extent from the Billy V figures. Even so, there are some OC poses like the radioman and sharpshooter with scoped rifle.
