I had hoped to look at this in person at a Target but finally gave up, only to learn a small pop culture type store in the nose bleed corners of my county, where all the hipsters drinking watered down beer and bad coffee hang-out, has them and if they haven't sold out by today, I doubt they will sell out by next week when I get there in person.
I also noticed I could order at retail from BBTS and I actually have a pile of loot going that needs to ship by the end of the month.
Is this worth the $45 or so it's retailing for? I can easily afford it and I'm not going to pose the hell out of him, but I think I might enjoy just watching his HBO documentary after a nice dinner, which would cost me less unless I ordered wine.
It's hard to parse your threads. Half of you seem to really hate buying NECA anything and the other half seem to buy NECA because it's the only way you can get figures of certain characters. And I usually stick to just one franchise but I had a Pee Wee as a kid and it got stolen, so this would be something that sits by itself on my work desk and not displayed with anything else. But that also means I have to look at it every single day I check my email or something.
So any honest feedback would be appreciated.
