My dollie is finally here, you guys! I'm so excited! My Resinsoul Sophia arrived on Monday but I don't want to take any pictures until I get her clothes, get her wired this weekend and also get s hooks for her hands, since she wasn't sent with any (which is TORTURE). However, her condition inspired a name: Helena, a reference to the movie "Boxing Helena", about a robot-like guy's captive amputee fantasy. I think the name suits her very nicely!
I also had my faceup supplies arrive--I got all this stuff pictured, plus about 6 different VOLKS eyelashes, a tin of watercolor pencils and a collection of acrylics for <150. I think I saw somebody in this thread say faceup supplies are expensive? Hell, if you saw what real women spent on makeup you would shit. I'm pretty happy that I have a full collection of doll painting supplies for this price...plus my brushes and practice faces should be coming any day. You guys weren't kidding about EMS being torture! My heads seem to be moving one city per day. Ugh!
But all in all I'm so excited and really looking forward to getting Helena's body wired and blushed. And for the record, I'm actually very happy with ResinSoul's faceup! It's not, like, crazy elaborate or anything, but I gasped a little when I finally laid eyes on her, so I'd say that they did a fine job!
