There are so many commission horror stories of "artists" who took big detailed commissions and then failed at them or chintzed out from the start.
IIRC there was one posted to doa just a few weeks ago about a beginner who took a commission for a bjd replica of the Barbie wood elf dress, and then delivered some crappy tube dress made from bedsheet fabric.
