>>8942310>you did well anon. Good thing if the doll producers stop doing the plastic box.I'm glad it all worked out in the end, but in hindsight I probably shouldn't have bothered saying anything. The new store manager at the time didn't seem to care for my input. Every time I would buy a doll they would give me the We've Gone Green speech, and would try to sell me a reusable $4 bag. I'd say no, and would mention that if they were really interested in going green, they would put their dolls in cardboard boxes instead of using plastic blister bubble boxes that were made up of 95% plastic.
Even though my transaction was with a cast member the new manager standing next to her pretending he wasn't paying attention, but jumped in to say . .
>If you want a bag to put your "Baby doll" (It was a Cinderella playset) you pay for it, now. This is the second time you have "harassed" one of my cast members about the plastic bags. Keep in mind that I never raised my voice or spoke with an attitude. It was just something I would mention as they were trying to hit me up for an extra $4 at the end of the purchase because they were "going green" . I don't really know why he jumped at me, and used the word "harass" which is a very strong word to use in that situation. I'd like to think that maybe he didn't fully understand the meaning of the word or couldn't find a better word to use. I also told him it wasn't a baby doll, and that it was collectable playset, and he replied
>"That is not a collectable. It has no value. It is for little girls. Those are the dolls I gift to my niece. Anyways a week later he was gone. When I asked they told me he was "No longer with the company", but an old cast member who I've been friendly with since 2009 told me that he was let go.
