I put this up a few years ago, as my concept of a D&D toy line, figured I'd repost. This is obviously before they did the cartoon wave.
-3-4 waves a year
-3 unique 'hero' figures would be characters drawn from all D&D related canon/media with the idea of completing rosters within a few years.
-1 unique canon/media 'villain'
-2 rare monsters (usually not encountered in large numbers)
-1 BAF monster
If you're wondering about classic humanoid Orc types they'll be sold in army builder multi packs by race with 2-3 extra heads/weapons per body if you want to really get a horde going. The number of figures is based on size of the monsters so the breakdown is as follows:
-Goblins, Kobolds, Gibberlings & small sized in 5 packs
-Orcs, Hobgoblins, Gnolls, Troglodyte & other medium sized in 3 packs
-Ogres, Trolls, & other large (but not giant sized) come in 2 packs.
