Then they cleaned them up for the show, but comceptually they kept getting more and more insane. A bat and bee ina polar bear and scorpion. Bboom and the moswuito's crazy third modes. Alien mutant helmets. Fuzors, transmetals where the robot mode was organic, then insanely assymetrical designs.
They just...hit uncanny valley so hard. It would have been better if they used some of the concept designs and toy designs. Mainframe seemes to change a lot of shit around. I unironically like a lot of Beast Machines designs.
