When I started getting vaguely good at Gunpla i'd already bought so many kits that my collection was all gundams. Because each one was taking so long to paint properly and detail I knew immediately who I didn't give a fuck about and sold around half. I charged more than the kit price but offered them as in a build, panel line and decal package. Around the same time I started buying NECA, old transformers and Bandai toys like the Nausicaa line off Mandarake for myself but quickly realised the Japs were selling for way below western market price across the board. For the last 5 years I've been snapping up absolute bargains off Mandarake in yen and selling to Americans for USD to capitalise on the sites lack of exposure here and the conversion. Combined with the general increase in interest in toys and cards recently I started selling off my childhood pokemon collection and downsize a collection of Magic cards I poured money into when I was 16-25.
