I wasn't expecting this at all, but I think I hate Optimus. The shoulders are pretty cool, but everything else feels bland, articulation-wise. The torso is just a straight up ab crunch and waist cut, no balljoints or sideways movement at all. The thigh swivels are very limited by some totally unecesary butt sculpting, and the neck has a ton of gaps, but it's still the clunkiest one he's made yet somehow. It's like it's placed an eigth of an inch back for no reason but to bump into the back of the hole for it.
I guess it doesn't sound like much, but he feels like he's missing a lot of the stuff that makes the rest of the line so much fun. And the size bugs me way more than I thought it would, I really don't get why he's not even the same size as the other AYs but at the same price. I'm curious how other people feel about him once he gets out there.
