Thoughts on shipping with FedEx SmartPost?
So I put up a large 18"-22" Hello Kitty plush on ebay. Wanted to get at least $18-$20 but it wasnt selling. Saw other similar items were sold for around $16-$18. Managed to sell the thing for $16.75. Stupid me put it up for free shipping because I thought shipping would come out to $7.
But the buyer happens to be from San Diego, California, and I'm from NYC. The plush weighs 2 pounds 2 ounces. I managed to squeeze the fucker into a 14 x 13 x 11 box but the weight altogether is now 3 pounds. If I ship this by USPS priority mail, it'll be at least $17, which is more than what I sold this for.
If I ship by FedEx SmartPost, it'll only cost around $11 to ship, but will take 2-8 business days to deliver. I'll only earn a around $5-$6 profit, but it's better than no profit.
Thoughts?? If I did a little more research to how much a 2-3 pound package would cost to ship, I would've put this fucker up for at least $25.
