The arms might be serviceable too, you could even shave some mass off them and cover the remainder with plaplate if you like. And lastly, you could chop down the body, salvage the existing joints, and just build the main body from plaplate. The boxiness of it shouldn't be too hard to scratchbuild. As an added bonus, the scale is just about right for a 6" figure to ride, so it would be ideal for the upcoming Limtoys Aehab.
