Yes they clearly used AI for non-human box art like the 2024 Holiday Barbie, but real artist Whitney Pollett posted the art she did for Malibu and Brooklyn of Dream Besties, and stated other artists drew other characters using her style she developed for the line. It's definitely weird they didn't let her draw all the box art but maybe it means third-worlders or interns drew Renee and Teresa. And tracing Anna Cattish's art was a dick move, but tracing doesn't always mean AI.
