>>8378764It's mostly a few people on twitter and /co/ posting over and over again to themselves about how they're masturbating to pictures of certain characters, because they like Steven Universe. Every She-Ra thread on /co/ is about shipping certain characters that /co/ wants to masturbate to. It's funny how websites like the Marysue tried to gatekeep over the Netflix series, bragging about how it was good thing characters were no longer pretty and were now lesbians, so men wouldn't be allowed to like the series, because men liking objectifies women and turns them into sex objects. Then the Marysue turned around and started talking about which lesbians are fucking.
>>8378766It'll more or less be continued every time She-Ra is brought up. It's an inevitability until the reboot is completely memoryholed, and will probably taint any possible second reboot that She-Ra could possibly ever have, because people will complain if certain characters aren't lesbians or race swapped, or body positive like they were in the Netflix series. The Netflix show kinda salted the earth for She-Ra in my view and feels like a completely different thing outside MOTU.
They should have had someone who grew up in that era reboot the series like Lauren Faust.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lauren_FaustShe seems to be doing a decent enough job with DC Superhero Girls. I think she could have pulled it off. She-Ra could be a good franchise with the right people on the franchise. The old mini-comics were toys were just as good as the He-Man ones and often used more stylized cutesy art to be a bit more girly.
