I abandoned the idea because humans characters are way more popular and the mech market is strangely not that interested in action figures. Plus using bolts adds an extra level of DIY complexity that some users will frown upon as you can even see in my case.

My recommendation is to go smaller and avoid designs that would make you compete with Gunpla because they already over-saturated the market. Check out Jake Parker on Instagram. His mech designs are very distinct with a simplistic stylized armor design on top of a complex mechanical skeleton. Plus he's a really popular artist meaning his designs are well loved by the public.
