I really want the Diamond Select figures so much, but they got the scale wrong. They made them to be 7" instead of 6". That screws up the ability for them to go with anything. That's probably why their values are so low for convention exclusives.

I think you might be right with Hasbro having requirements placed on them by Disney because these days Disney is good at losing a lot of money, and they're probably putting a tight squeeze on licensors to get as much back as possible.
