It's available at most hardware stores in the US, at least. You might be able to find a regional substitute, but the important thing is that you get some metal polish.
Also you will notice the Scotch tape and a cotton swab. These are also important.
Be sure to shake the Brasso vigorously for a minute or so the first time you use it, because otherwise the top of the bottle will be full of watery liquid and it won't do you any good. Brasso comes out thick and creamy, like shampoo, or some other substance that can be described as thick and creamy.
