>>8542595The old one has unparalleled hip articulation; granted the gap is unsightly, but it's easy to cover up in dynamic poses. The new one is better on a lot of accounts and given the availability and similar prices I would recommend it over the old one, it just feels more like a display piece and is less fun to fiddle with IMO.
I'm also ascribing some sentimental value; I found the old series in various Mandarakes in-person when I was living in Japan, whereas I just ordered the new ones from a GameStop sale.
