I built Volks' Achilles and Equus set. It's a very weird set, excuse the shoddilly painted gold, that's on me. Achilles, the girl, is pretty alright, looks nice armored up and she's quite cute. Her big hands seem a bit daft and proportionally overall she's a bit off, but she's okay.
Equus, the robot, is utterly bizarre however. It looks real cool, but the engineering for it feels crap, a lot of joints but it feels like nothing is useful. The tolerance on the parts is really off, I had to file pretty much every single peg to get them to fit smoothly, combine that with it being the Clear parts version, and it using pinned joints, and it's a disaster waiting to happen. I'm really confused how Achilles fits together much nicer than the robot who's designed to be modular. Even the X connections seem bigger on Equus than Achilles, so I wonder if the mold missed a round of QC at the factory.
The centaur mode is okay, Equus' faults still carry over so it's a pain to poss the legs, but the combined weapon is good fun. I feel you'd be better off getting a Sieg Springer, any MD and some other accessories to make your own centaur girl though, the set just has a lot of issues.
Excited to see how the Nuke Matrix centaur turns out, those previews look solid.
