>>6943479I guess you could sorta say that. It was definitely plamo, but built to function/last like a proper toy. Some of the plastics used in these things were even unpaintable. And I know, cause I tried--the paint would either never dry or just flake off after drying. I really regret trying to paint them though, I had no idea unpaintable plastic was an actual thing back then and I messed up some kits that are now worth like $100+ apiece.
Anyway, the main pull of this line, at least for me, was the IDEAS. Ganso was something the designers started to blow off steam after work, and they had tons of fun with it by the looks of it. There were so many cool and unique and fun designs in this line. Many of them had interesting features too--combining, headmaster-like gimmicks, transforming (even some triple changers!), hidden faces, concealed weaponry, it was all so much fun.
Fuck, I made myself sad. I miss Ganso so much.
