Nerf is fun because it has way more of a modding and customizing focus than the other two and it also has a perk as something you can fuck around with indoors or in your small backyard without breaking anything or making a mess. Gameplay-wise it's also interesting because you can carry a lot less ammo and the loading systems are actually more similar to real steel than anything else, I guess it's kind of like mag-fed paintball in that regard except it's a lot cheaper and there there's a lot more loadout variety and you don't have first strike fags ruining the game for everyone.
I don't even really go to games or anything though, I just think it's fun to modify toys beyond all safety standards and shoot them at my bros
