>>6033160>a "huge line with tons of monsters and playsets" would be next to impossibleBut that was exactly why 4H wanted to make them in 1:18 scale.
NOW it's impossible, because instead of making a larger wave of $30-50 that take up less space/weight with shipping, they're producing 12"+ inch figures weighing nearly 5lbs with reduced articulation for $100, cutting the market waaay down in who is able to buy and display the trolls.
It's way more possible to make figures like this. Just look at NECA's Stitch figure. Way easier and faster to produce 6-8" figure that are HUGE with 4" figures than it is to make HUGE figures in scale with 6" figures.
You could actually create an entire line of orges and other monsters, same way they do with the current scale Mythic Legions.
>>6033173HACKS has proven that they wouldn't cost that much more and shows how much demand there is for fantasy toys. Even before they marked down the price for HACKS, people already backed its kickstarter to reach its goal in less than 5 days.
So price isn't something most of us care about as long as the product is good.
