I'm sure there is a better place to post this but i'll start here.
>Buy bandai 1/350 space battleship yamato because childhood>comes in, start building>construction manual starts with production of the base/mount as the power for the motors and lights of the model so that no screwups will happen with the wiring later on in the build.>spend 3 hours linking wiring correctly together, everything is in place>turn on power>lights are flickering, motors making a eheheheheheheheheheheheh noise>turn off, recheck manual>everything is wired correctly>only expanations are that the model isn't recieving enough power, or the motherboard is faulty>replacement parts are nonexistantopen to anything at this point, pic related is the setup.
