>>7293392I use Scotch tape to cover the parts of the printing that I don't want to remove to protect them from the eraser. Weak printing can be pulled away from the piece when you remove the tape, so the best solution I've found is to get the palm of your hand sweaty and then touch the sticky side of the tape to your hand a few times to get rid of most of the adhesive before you put it on the piece. That way it has enough adhesive to stay stuck to the piece when you're erasing it, but not so sticky that it pulls off bits of the printing.
