I do agree that Hasbro would fuck it up and not go the whole hog like they didn't for Kingdom Road Rage, but I still think the best solution for female designs is to treat them like a normal transformer, and then smooth surfaces to give a female vibe to contrast against the hard angled dude bots, pretty much like MP Road Rage.
But as you say, that'd be too much effort for Hasbro to exert, just slap it all onto the back, job done.
