Simple one-off builds like turret swaps based on real world examples are much more achievable short term and offer nice quick ways of making something unique and unorthodox while potentially killing spare parts, so I don't see much harm, as long they're not being posted so often it disrupts the thread.
I'm sure I've seen some anons post more reasonable kitbashed, fictional vidya vehicles here before and those were pretty well recieved, from what I remember. I'd be happy to see more in the future.
