The detail ruins a lot of the charm of the simple comic design, which is a very streamlined Spider-man. With all the textures and extra lines and things added to the figure/game model it takes away the graphic impact of the design. Now its very clearly a person in a skintight costume, like a morphsuit, which can be a bit uncanny.
