>>10042645You know what I realized? In order to snag my interest again, Hasbro needs to start sculpting in different art styles. This bland pseudo-realistic house style is so fucking boring and has ruined many releases for me. Take a page from the statue world and start making specific artist renditions that actually look just like the original art in both detail and proportions, not some dumbed down interpretation to fit into a "cohesive universe." I'm not saying it would have necessarily been good anyway, but god, I keep thinking back to Gwenpool, turning Gurihiru's playful art into this awful Miley Cyrus-looking thing.
This would net a looooot of money. Start it as a subline even: "Artist Series." It would give them years and years of material to work with. This is the real fresh start they need, not remaking figures constantly with incremental improvements. People are sick of buying Spidey ver.6.5. Give us something new.
