The air assault now has a more standard ratcheted peg extending from the neck and inserting into the hole at the base of the helmet, as opposed to the mark vb which has a basic double ball peg that fits into the enormous hole in the neck that was honestly really ugly and made the Spartans look like they had really fat necks. The new design also provides better range of motion looking up and down
