Also, how would they even measure contract workers, who work on a per project basis with indeed and ziprecruiter anyway? Get a few projects with Hasbro, a gig at NECA, another at Diamond,... do you follow?
self reporting is really the only way to get an accurate picture of how artists make. Places like Glassdoor puts the median (not average) at 45k. Whereas zippia has it at 65k and
salary.com has it at 92k.
