>>11372476Both are shit and not really worth spending any money on. Both are "cool concept, shit execution because you had negative budget".
On the Hasbro side stuff like Bull Megatron, Skybyte with wheels and Scorponok-at-home all seem like fun concepts. But they all look like bricks with Scorponok maybe offering some novelty despite that by being at least being a big chunky item you can throw at your kids, but only if the pricetag is reasonable, which it probably won't be.
Takara once again going with the whole elemental theme that they seem to really like (they did it with Go too) and it's cool to get a vehicle+beast combiner like that, but it's ruined by the fact that they don't look remotely cool in any way. Elemental symbols look bad and all the mold reuse makes the limbs underwhelming as individual figures. No cool combined mode head like Combiner Wars had which helps complete the look. And honestly with all the partsforming involved I think I'd rather just go buy one of those Meme Bootleg Lego Combiners and I'd probably get a similar experience with the added bonus I can easily change the way they look with other Lego if I felt like it.
