That's because they looked like shit. People want a toon accurate head. The closest we've gotten to that is NECA's horrible bobble head attempt.

Honestly, how hard is it to put pic related in plastic form? It seems like a ridiculously easy sculpt to do compared to shit like Bebop and Rocksteady.

yeah, they smoothed out her jumpsuit exactly like the original toy and it just translates to a very bland modern sculpt. Its good to just admit the og figure wasn't one of the coolest playmates toys, and just go for an ultimate amalgamation of 80s April.

Its not the easiest job to please coomers, I'm glad they're at least going to attempt it.
