This is a pretty faithful side by side comparison of the prototype and what we got, and I can't say there is a discernible difference here, EXCEPT...in the bust/waist area; it looks like they shrunk the bust of the final product down so she wouldn't appear as buxom, then narrowed her waist a little to match the upper torso piece. I bet if you shooped her bust and waist a little in the second photo, you'd see everything else about the figure, including the head, is the same size.
