>>7755861I don't own Siege Springer yet because I really don't care for the character's G1 look, but the toy does seem like fun and I'd like to pick up a future repaint or retool, if it happens. My only real issue with the old Springer is the lack of ankle joints and the somewhat limited elbow articulation.
I wonder what the mold will get re-used as, if anything. Most people will say Sandstorm as a knee-jerk reaction, but I don't think so. With the increased importance on geewunn accuracy in Siege, I doubt we'll see it attempted, but goddamn am I glad they did it back in 2013. Generations Sandstorm is easily one of my favorite Transformers robot designs of all time. Every mode is just dripping with personality and detail and memorable little bits. The mold suits him way more than it does Springer, in my opinion. So many amazing details and concepts were just pulled out of some designers ass for this robot and they all work. Makes me sad we don't see this level of creativity in Generations figures anymore; everything is just gonna be "Geewunn but with more joints" from here on out.
