They also had to dumb down alot of DOTM because soccer moms complained that their kids couldn't transform the toys and after ROTF Bay stopped giving a shit due to how the production process of the movie went. This along with the rising trend of capeshit resulted in profits for 2011 going significantly down which was especially bad considering the oil crash. This probably resulted in the TF branch having a meltdown.
