I remember while talking my high school SAT test I noticed a "Chose Your Race" box on the front page of the test where you filled in your name, and other general info.
The choices given by the SAT test were as follow.
>White/caucasian Without ANY Hispanic ancestry>Black Without ANY Hispanic ancestry>Hispanic >Asian>Native American >OtherSo according to my state if even your grandmother was Spanish you are Hispanic by default.
