Guess what happen when Hulkbuster move his leg forward? It would bend the Iron Man's knee that is inside forward, breaking his leg.
This is a roundabout way to say because RDJ is 5'7, to fit a 5'7 man inside an armor you dont just enlarge the whole iron man proportion, making long limbs and heroic builds. You need to make the IM figure stockier, shorter limbs, and the realistic proportion Iron Man would be a chubby looking Iron Man not be "heroic" proportion.
