>>10765404What figure are you looking at? I'd suggest just buying from 100% legit stores rather than middlemen like amazon or ebay unless you want to do extensive research on how to spot a bootleg, and potentially to deal with getting a refund.
For the record my first toy ever was a bootleg AY batman from aliexpress, which I got a full refund for and I'm glad I learned that so soon.
If they say something like "yamaha" which was used as an example, you can almost instantly assume it's a bootleg. Telltale signs include
>official promo images only (mostly relevant on sites like ebay)>unrealistic stock for something that's supposed to be rare (see above)>incorrect/unprofessional name of the product (case by case basis)>doesn't advertize itself as official 100% X brand and/or doesn't mention the correct brand in it's informationEven with all these you can actually run into third worlders who are retarded enough to just straight up lie about all that and hope you're too retarded to know the difference on your end. This happened to me with an Ebay seller peddling chinkshit 1990 neca turtles as "100% official Neca", and calling him out on being able to 100% identify bootlegs if one gets to my doorstep made him instantly agree to quietly cancel the transaction/refund before shipping anything while admitting that they're "china versions". If a seller has even one bad review, pay extreme attention to it. If there's a bad review saying bootleg, never buy anything from that seller unless you want bootlegs
