>>10091000It's a stylistic choice. Marvel is clearly approving these interpretations of War Machine with white instead of silver, so they must think it's ok. And there are quite a few out there, from cheap to very expensive.
At the end of the day, sure I believe they were trying to draw silver. But it doesn't stop it from looking like white to a lot of people. Same as Tony himself, you can talk all day about "meant to be" gold, but red and bright yellow Iron Man is something people really remember visually, and that yellow has intentionally been used numerous times when actual gold could easily have been subbed in instead. It just gives them a more retro look, like they stepped right off the pages of a comic book which doesn't have the ability to do true metallics. It's a choice, you don't have to like it but it's the one they went with.
