That oversight is also why we have shit like MP Bumblebee 2.0 and Haslab's Unicron. Hell, one of the earliest examples of this is Universe 2.0 Ironhide and everyone was eager to see that replaced in their collection. There should be a level of cleverness and subtlety involved in making a transformation work with a design and MP-44's transformation is a cacophony against the sculpt.
