Hey everyone, having a weird issue. Pic related. Up to this point in my painting experience I've used Tamiya grey primer airbrushed, it works ok but I have been gradually phasing out all my Tamiya supplies to Vallejo Air which I prefer. I got Vallejo Mecha primer grey, but it doesn't act like any paint or primer I've used. Without thinning out pof the bottle it comes out watery and doesn't become a solid layer after a bit like the Vallejo Air paints or even the Tamiya paints and primer I use. Thinning didn't fix the problem, but I figured I'd try as Tamiya primer needs thinning. Is this a known issue? I have my PSI at 20 like usual, my airbrush sprayed Valejo air just fine in the test run, so it is the product. Left it to dry for a while too, it just isn't working. Ideas/tips?
