>>8097686You. They hover to maintain control at a constant speed and will go on wheels (that weren't earth wheels with earth tires) to keep control of their acceleration when they boost. Also, while this may be a nitpick, those translucent wheels won't grip onto anything because they're basically smooth translucent circles. Even the cartoon got it right by making everything hovercars in episode 1. They're not perfect but at least some thought went into the designs.
Prime and Sideswipe look very blatantly half assed, Prowl's shoe mode is just bad and Soundwave + Reflector's Oblong modes are only there because they can't get away selling designs like those without them actually transforming into something.
