There has been an endless supply of new MMPR releases this decade and almost all of them stay at marked up prices once they're discontinued. Right now, the Ninja Storm legacy figures are just as expensive as the superior Figuarts releases of them from several years ago. The event exclusive helmetless MMPR have not directly effected the previous releases of MMPR figuarts either, prices are still the same.
PR fans are completionists so even though the Legacy line is ending and it's been nothing buy complaints since day 1, I do not doubt a good chunk of those releases will stay overpriced in another year or 2. Especially the final wave, whatever is in that wave is going to be heavily hoarded when people catch wind of it.

Also if you really want a metallic Green look for the Fighting Spirit set on eBay. Some dudes sell the figs individually though they are still overpriced. But if you want one to match the metallic releases they are your only option.
