They did an awkward thing here where the joint is not hidden well, and the ball is slightly too small for the joint and hangs loosely. I could probably get it to fit tighter with the old furniture polish trick but the more elegant solution is probably just to use magnets. I could embed magnets, cover them with filler and paint blood red for battle damage if I wanted to detach them.
